I wore my onion tunic (pictures last post) to a ballgame last night. I received many compliments. Isn't it fun getting compliments? I enjoyed it.
I have been working on BWOF wrap top today but taking a break - hubby and I are going on a date. Heading to see 27 Dresses, I don't think he realizes it is such a chick flick!

First of all, cracking up that you must have tricked your husband into seeing 27 Dresses. That is sooooo a chick flick. My daughter thought it was cute.
ReplyDeleteThe jacket - I'm not loving that jacket on you. I LOVE your height and your long torso and I think this jacket doesn't flatter those features. I really like the collar and the three-button closure (plus the actual buttons) but not so much the 3/4 sleeves and the cropped length - take that with a grain of salt because I RARELY like 3/4 sleeves.
I have to say, I'm not wild about it on you either. I think it's the sleeves - since it's the same length as the jacket, it looks like it shrunk (although making it in longer sleeves might not have helped either??). I wonder if it would work on someone who was 'vertically challenged' to help lengthen their torso?
ReplyDeleteI have liked 3/4 sleeves on myself. I check the pattern length however because 3/4 length is just a tad more than half way between the inner elbow bend and the wrist bone (about 4.25-4.5 inches for me at 5'2").
