The birthdays are over, did I mention in addition to the twins on the 11th, hubby's is on the 12th, so we had a weekend of birthdays. I can't believe Christmas is only 8 days away but I finished son-in-law's stocking two days ago. I have made the felt stockings, from kits for everyone in the family (several years ago), so Jesse needed one of these. I bought this kit at an after-Christmas sale with the intention of working on it a little at a time. What do they say about good intentions? Anyway, I have worked diligently the last week on the stocking and nothing else, my hard work paid off.
Here it is and yes, he has a motorcycle, so this stocking is perfect.
Now I can get back to sewing on my winter coat.
That is SO cute! My bike is red, too!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great Lori. I'm sure he'll love it and feel like part of the family.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift :) It looks so very nice. I'm sure he'll be pleased with it.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love it! You did a fantastic job.
ReplyDeleteA dear friend made stockings from kits like yours for my kids when they were born. They've held up beautifully and I love that she made them. I'm sure Jesse will feel the same way.
ReplyDeleteHi Lori,
ReplyDeleteI seem to have lost your address! I wanted to let you know that the "Stitch" magazine arrived today; thank you!!!
Merry Christmas!
Love it! My family all has those stockings too - aren't they the best even tho they are a bit time consuming.
ReplyDeleteYour basement remodel turned out great too - here I am behind in my blog reading (yet again). I hope your family had a very Merry Christmas!
