Meredith wore her Jalie 2919 to school, the fabric is a remnant from Needle Nook. I had to cut the collar with the stripes running this way and the width is 1" shorter but it worked with just a bit of fabric leftover.
Doesn't she look cute?

She looks lovely indeed.
ReplyDeleteMeredith looks super cute in this! I LOVE how the stripes in the collar look - what a great way to use a remnant.
ReplyDeleteVery cute. That top would make a good layering piece for fall.p0
ReplyDeleteShe does look really cute and what a great outfit to start school in!
ReplyDeleteIt does look great on her and as someone said, looks like a wonderful layering piece for fall. It prompted me to dig out the Jalie patterns that I have not attempted yet.
ReplyDeleteHope it is a great sophomore year for your DDs.
Really cute top and it looks so good on her. I think the different directions of the stripes really makes it special!
ReplyDeleteShe looks really cute. I'm so impressed with how well she sews too.
ReplyDeleteThat IS cute. I'd stopped sewing for my daughter by the time she reached her teens. I don't remember if it was my idea or hers.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so cool! I love this!! Gosh, I wish my mom was still sewing when I was in high school...
ReplyDeleteSo cute with the stripes. Good luck for your daughters this year.
