How cute! I can't wait to see it on you! Nope, I don't see your mistake. And seriously, have you looked at RTW lately? They have mistakes galore. You're awesome Lori!
I only noticed that the sleeves were cut the opposite direction of the shirt when you asked "do you see my mistake?" It is a very cute top and I really don't think anyone would notice if you didn't mention it. Thanks for sharing.
Cute knit top. The stripes are matched so nicely on the sides. Even though the sleeve stripes are upside down, I agree, nobody will notice unless you mention it. I really like how you did the neckline on the bias too!
Lori, did you insert the sleeves in the wrong armscyes, or is that just the way the ruching is pulling them? Like everyone else said, no one will notice the sleeve striping orientation except you (and possibly another garment sewer). It does look like a fun shirt, and the side seams are really great.
Nope, I don't see any mistakes in the sleeves. Cute top though!

ReplyDeleteStripes are upside down - but it's still a great blouse. Love the bias trim for the neckline.

ReplyDeleteNow I would call that a "design decision" -- not a mistake!
ReplyDeleteYep, it looks very familiar...reminds me of something in my closet!
ReplyDeleteNope, not in a million years would anyone but sewers notice that! Great looking top!
ReplyDeleteLove this top! All the stripes match perfectly. Would not have noticed the "mistake" if you hadn't mentioned it. Great trim on the neckline.
ReplyDeleteIt's not a mistake - it would have looked like one if it was only one of the sleeves. Looks great!
ReplyDeletehow cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat top! And I like the design element of the reverse stripes on the sleeves.
ReplyDeleteyou are making some beautiful tops Lori, this one, I think I've seen a version in one of my magazine, the stripes are fabulous in this design

ReplyDeleteI can't see the mistake. Perhaps you should tell us! Love the candy stripes.
ReplyDeleteCute top! I love stripes! I already read your post so I know what the mistake is... but it's not noticeable at all!
