Something quick and easy after sewing up my blouse. This oldie but goodie from a 4 year old Burda Magazine (11/2006) #116.
Make sure you use a fabric that looks great on the wrong side, too. The collar rolls so you see the wrong side of the fabric. I added 3/4" to the bodice, to lower the empire waist seam a bit. Also, added 2" to the length and 1" to the sleeves.
Fabric is rayon- lycra knit from Fabric. com
Here is the picture, hubby took it this morning, about the second time ever he has operated my camera. Twins had basketball practice at 5:45 so they were unavailable during sunlight!
Hubby didn't pay any attention to what the picture looked like, in all 3 my eyes were closed. I didn't crop my head - the sunrise was so pretty in the background (and my smile actually looked pretty good too)
Beautiful color, Lori. And it coordinates so nicely with that gorgeous sunrise!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely top!
