First, we had to have it put back together (there was no back) and then I stripped it and punched the tin.This is what it has looked like for 20 years.
Perfectly fine and very pretty but I was ready for a change. After seeing all this wonderful painted furniture on several blogs and my family room is full of wood pieces, I thought a turquoise would brighten up the room. It did just that.
I used True Value paint 26A26 (Adrift), which I found was one of the featured paints in the latest Better Homes and Gardens.
