I had received an email from Fabric Mart about their pyramid of savings, then Carolyn posted about the sale and I couldn't resist any longer. I filled my cart with many pieces, went over my budget, so eliminated a few. The savings really made a difference and I bought some pieces I had been wanting for quite some time. Today after a very long day at work, I arrived home to a nice box on my porch.
Here is my fabric goodness:
tops, dresses, jackets, cardigans, shirts, sweaters are my plans. I was thrilled with every piece.
Fall sewing here I come, after a couple more things for Erin.
Looks like you bought some lovely goodies! I took advantage of the sale, too, and a (gulp) 60 lb. box is headed my way! ~ Peggy

ReplyDeleteIt's a happy day when fabric comes in the mail. You sure picked some pretty fabric.
ReplyDeleteI've been to two huge fabric sales in Sydney and bought far more fabric than is reasonable. Good for you to exercise some discipline.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous fabric purchases!
ReplyDeleteIy always a great pleasure to have your favorite fabric waiting for you! Have fun sewing!
ReplyDeleteYou've got some really gorgeous fabrics there - I especially love that green zigzaggy one with the dashes of pink in it - that's really going to make something special!
ReplyDeleteGreat haul of fabric.
ReplyDeleteWell at least you're willing to share what came to your house on your blog! Me, I was a fabric piggy ordering not once but twice...glad you got some great pieces!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy those new fabrics! I came close to ordering, but I have a quick trip to the mainland in about a month, and I am saving my nickels and dimes so that I can touch and feel quality fashion fabric before I buy, which is such a rare treat when most of what I buy comes from online stores. I am so thankful for the online stores, but I am always thrilled when I have a chance to visit big city fabric stores and actually touch the fabric in person before I buy!
ReplyDeleteWow! These are great fabrics. You must be very excited to start projects for the up coming Fall Season. I love your podcast, keep up the fabulous work.
ReplyDeleteYou found some great pieces. Can't wait to see what you sew with everything!
