Butterick 5495

Another top for Erin, from a pattern I have made twice for myself.

First as a top for me

then I lengthened it into a dress for me




I used a piece of ITY knit from my stash and made it in a couple of hours this morning and she wore it out to dinner with us tonight.

Cute top but a cami is required!!

    Fabulous. I have made this one twice - once in an ity knit and the other time I used a more stable knit in two colors and did a color blocked version.

    You've had a lot of mileage out of that pattern. That's always a good thing. All are pretty garments. Love that gold, yellow, maizey color dress for Erin in your previous post. What a great color! I'm sure you will be missed at the quilt shop. Talented people like you are not easily come by.

    Happy Easter!! I love the top. Erin needs to do a fashion show with all the pieces you have made!
    It really encourages me to see the number of times and different views that you make with one pattern.

    All three are soooo cute! I've imagined so many of my top patterns as dresses but haven't tried to extend any of them yet. I really love what your did and hope you had a lovely Easter :)
