Not One but Two Renfrews

This week I did some Renfrew tops from Joann's fabric.

The first from a navy-red stripe, headed to Joann's to pick this up after seeing Lynne's top.

I am still tweaking the fit on these, this one looks a bit big in the shoulders.  Then I had to take the bottom band off, take off 1", taper the sides from bust down and take out about 1".  It still is a bit full in the middle, so I will keep making them and altering them!  Also, a very bad hair day.

Then this bright pink fabric, there was just enough on the bolt

    I always get mixed messages about the usefulness of cutting binding like on the renfrew on the bias? I see that you did on the first top but not the second... what differences did you notice?

      I didn't really notice any difference. I just wanted to change up the stripes a bit on the red/navy shirt.

      Pam, you are so kind. It is called Retin - A!!! Also, I wear the sunglasses when the eye wrinkles are just too much. I think it all depends on how much sleep I get.
