Paige's 7th grade year and she is a cheerleader for middle school. Well, that meant cheerleading outfits for the other three
So off to Joann's to get pattern and fabric. The pattern is one of the Big 3's and is from the costume section. The fabric, that old polyester knit. One thing about that fabric , no ravels, no fading and it will wear forever.
Erin on the left loved to wear her cheerleading costume and would always wear it to school every football Friday. This was always funny to me, she was a tomboy but loved to wear her cheerleading outfit.
The twins needed outfits, too. I just sewed them skirts only and they were very happy. Kaitlyn is on the left and Meredith is on the right. I am liking their poses for the picture.
I did that with my girls too.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about cheerleading outfits and girls?
Deleteit looks like the twins are holding imaginary pom poms :))
ReplyDeleteyou're pretty much the best mom ever.
Thanks, that or they are really posing with those hips out! LOL.
DeleteI made 'dress-up' costumes for my girls when they were little, as well as their clothes, but never thought to take pictures back then. I always enjoy your 'flashback' photos.
ReplyDeleteI have to scan in my photos - LOL. I still have boxes of dress-up clothes and costumes.
