Erin has a good friend expecting a boy very soon and so of course, a baby quilt is needed. Erin and this young lady have been friends since elementary school, wearing their cheerleading outfits (made by their moms) to school every football Friday. Also, bridesmaids in each other's wedding and continue to be good friends today.
I purchased a jelly roll and some yardage for this quilt and based my design on these quilts by V and Co.
I did omit the strips from the jelly roll with red. I wanted this to be more of an orange, blue and brown quilt.
Here is a close up of the fabric and the quilting, it resembles traffic signs (arrows, curves, etc)
Love the colors.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Joen, I do think the mom-to-be will like the colors.
DeleteVery nice. Do you quilt yourself? g
ReplyDeleteThanks, no I do not quilt my quilts. We are very fortunate in our community to have a fabulous longarm quilter. I take advantage of her skill and reasonable rates!
DeleteAwww, how cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you, anything baby is cute, right? I sure think so.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Patty, boy colors but not the usual boy colors.
DeleteYou make the cutest baby quilts! Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Donna, I do like making baby quilts. Smaller in size so they don't take too long and I get to play with these great quilting cottons.
