Sewing Plans - Floral Blazer

There is just a bit of sewing going on.  Mostly it has been making decisions for the remodel and cleaning up each night!  

I am dreaming of a floral blazer and here is some inspiration

What do you think of this look?

Now I need help with the fabric, I am going to use my Mood allowance for my next Mood Sewing Network post.

Here are some choices

1. Floral Linen


2. Blue and red

3. This linen


Do you like any of these?  Have any other suggestions at Mood?


I have 2 tops made and working on a stripe knit maxi.  Only one problem, the contractor hanging the sheet rock has been here for 3 days working late afternoon and evening.  It is just too awkward to drag out the camera, tripod and remote for pictures while he is here!  Later this week, I will get some pictures.

    I really like the look of your second inspiration photo. I am not sure any of these options captures that, but I do like the one that MakeItAnyWear suggested. Of the 3 you show, I would choose #1, but it is a softer look, not as "summery" feeling.

    Love, love number one. It's a little more loose and flowery than 2 and 3. They look like fourth of July party wear.

    I like #3. Love your inspirations, I'm heading up to NYC with two sewing friends to fabric shop on Thursday so you have given me something to look for. I do have a hard time selecting floral prints though, I usually lean toward paisley.

    I like the first one too. I looked at the Mood florals and fell in love with several that were sold out. Of the few that are not sold out, http://www.moodfabrics.com/italian-multicolor-floral-cotton-lycra-woven-fc12870.html is nice and has bright colors.
