Suburbs Quilts

Cluck Cluck Sew's Suburb quilt pattern from Thimble Blossom's Daysail fabric line

Remember I told you about my Monday night quilting ?  Well, for about 3 months I went to this sewing night and sewed for about 4 to 6 hours with a wonderful group of friends.  Then the new job and a different location making Monday nights a thing of the past, which makes me so sad.  One thing I do have are all these wonderful quilts I finished on Mondays.  These quilts are starting to come back from the quilter, so be ready for quilt picture mania!
The first is a Cluck Cluck Sew pattern called Suburbs and I love, love it.  I used 2 layer cakes from a Thimble Blossom line (Daysail) and Moda's white.  As you can see I eliminated the blue solid fabric from the top of the quilt as in pattern photo.

I cut out all the fabric at once, making this a very quick sew.  I did eliminate some fabric which were not my favorite, I tend to love blue and adding the red makes the quilt very fun.  You can see no green from the Daysail line, green is not my color so I always pull those from quilting precuts.  Those go to a quilting friend.

I brightened this photo up, so you can see the quilting lines, geometric quilting patterns are my favorites.
I send all my quilts to the local long arm quilter, she does an amazing job.
One thing, I should of taken a picture of the back, I had some Daysail yardage and I just pieced it all together for the back.  It is so fun and perfect use of the fabric.

I love this fun little quilt, it just says Happy Home.  What do you think?   As I stated, I will have several more quilts to share.  Several of these are from Monday nights and several are from sewing at home.  The remodel is moving right along, time for flooring the next couple of  weeks (hardwood and tile), then cabinets, doors and trim.  It still will be 3 to 4 weeks and in the mean time with not much cooking and very little area to clean, I have been sewing clothing and quilts like crazy.  My goal was to sew up my quilting stash and I am happy to say, one Christmas quilt to make and then a Churn Dash from red fat quarters are all that are left to make.  You cannot imagine how happy turning the quilting cottons into beautiful quilts has made me.  When I am ready to sew another quilt, it will be such a joy to go and select fabric just for that quilt.

  9. Be careful of crypto platforms promising huge returns. They lure people into fake programs. I was scammed 198,450 USD last year. While researching on how to recover my funds, I came across several recommendations on the Bitcoin Abuse Forum about HACKERSTEVE. I contacted him via his email on hackersteve911@gmail.com, and he helped me recover all my funds. If you've also been a victim of financial scams, don't hesitate to get in touch with STEVE.
