Kaitlyn's Maxi Dress (Butterick 6330) and Morris Blazer

Sewing for my daughter a maxi dress using Butterick 6330 and a red ponte Morris Blazer

More sewing for Kaitlyn and the garments look great together and work with several things in her closet
Butterick 6330 is her maxi dress, which I made for myself  and I love it.  I thought Kaitlyn would like a maxi dress for something a bit different.  We are still having temps in the 60's and 70's.  The fabric is a navy stripe knit from Joann's

Kaitlyn is a Sperry shoe girl and everything goes with Sperry's!  The dress isn't too short, we just didn't adjust it after putting on the belt.

Also, one more Morris Blazer for her. This one is made from a Mood Fabrics' Red Ponte.  This makes the fourth Morris Blazer I have made.   What I have found is a bit thicker Ponte looks and works the best.  This red ponte is a bit thin and lightweight, making the blazer act more like a sweater than a blazer.

Not too much more to say about these garments, they are great basics.

    1. Thanks, Irene, they are good pieces and now the dress is knee length. Kaitlyn said it felt just a bit too short, she will like it better shorter.

  4. I have wanted to get that Butterick maxi made all summer - love the blue and white stripe, looks great with the Morris Blazer. I'm sure she will get a lot of wear out of this outfit.

    1. You need to make that maxi dress, Joen, I have worn and worn mine. Kaitlyn did want this one shortened, so now it is just above the knee.

  7. Look great. I notice that you have the same bubble that appeared in my Morris blazer. To get rid of it, insert a narrow vertical dart as if it is the roll line of the collar. It cant be seen and works a treat.

  8. HOW HACKER STEVE HELPED TO RECOVER MY CRYPTO
I became a prey to crypto fraudsters in 2023. Having invested $234,000 on a fake crypto platform. They continually told me the funds were increasing up until it was time for withdrawal and they got lost into thin air. Just for sheer luck, I found Hacker Steve who helped me to recover all the funds back to my wallet. You can reach him for assistance if you need any help via hackersteve911@gmail.com
