French seams were the finish of choice on my blouse and there were just a few of those. The side, lower armscye, and shoulder seam, making it very simple.
Now for the other seams, the pattern does include nice bias facings for the cold shoulder openings
I did have to work with my machine’s tension to get a nice seam for the poly crepe de chine
I really enjoyed the process of sewing this blouse, it had simple seaming but some challenges with the bias facings and ties. I am still on the fence on how I feel on the cold shoulder look for me but will give this a try.
Now I have to tell you, I don't like this blouse on me at all! It doesn't really do anything for me, the print is pretty busy and I have tension issues in the seems. The blouse has already been donated.
Disclosure - I receive a monthly fabric allowance from Mood Fabrics to make a garment. This garment is blogged at Mood Sewing Network first and then I will blog here about this garment.
