In December, I made my velvet bomber and wore it to a family Christmas. My 17 year old niece loved it and asked for one. I said yes, I will make you one and she tried on mine for size
I did not have to lengthen the jacket, she wanted it shorter and she always wears high waisted jeans.
The jacket is in the mail to her and I can't wait to see how she likes it. I have sent her pictures along the way and she loves it.
The lining came from Hobby Lobby and was almost a perfect match, although the pictures don't show it.
I had to use one of my labels, right?
This is my favorite picture, it was hard to photograph the fabric and on my dress form but this one picture shows it beautifully.
The pattern is McCall's 7100
So this is an early birthday present for Julia and I wanted to get it to her so she could really enjoy the jacket/fabric combination this winter
Beautiful jacket. She's a lucky girl.
