How I Love the Pfaff Creative Icon

Back in May, I received this amazing Pfaff Creative Icon and I am one of their Brand Ambassadors, which I am so thrilled and honored.

Today I want to share with you some of my favorite features!  This machine is Pfaff's top-of-the-line.

The workspace is huge, no more struggling to fit your garment or quilt in the machine and the light is amazing, it is so bright.

First let's start with the home screen, this screen is the first thing you see after the machine comes on.  It is a large, bright screen and did I mention touch screen?!!!  Just touch what you want to do and don't let me forget it has wi-fi!

Let's start with Start Sewing and how about the ease in threading the needle.  Here is the button you will touch to thread the needle

 bur first the thread needs to be in the right spot.  This is so amazing and I love this feature, it makes me smile each time it threads the needle!

Now I love that I can just touch the Start Sewing Screen and it takes me right to the straight stitch.  You have a question about something, then touch the "?" in the top right corner, then touch what you have a question on.  In this case I touched "stitch edit" at the bottom.  A pop-up screen appears.

There are so many decorative stitches, just keep swiping left to see them all.  In fact, there are over 800 Stitches In addition to our specialty stitches, you get a wide variety of stitches including 9mm decorative stitches and Maxi Stitches up to 52mm wide. (from The Creative Icon Brochure)

 This screen really intrigues me and I have already done one project with these technique stitches (floating stitches)

Next project for me will include the Radiant Stitches which are

Radiant Stitches Sew decorative stitches along a curved line with ease Radiant stitches spread out equally along any curve. 

I am planning on putting one of these around the neckline of a top in a tone-on-tone thread

Not sure how to do a radiant stitch?   Check out the built in User Guide, no more heading to your laptop or phone to look up a technique it is right here on your machine.

Not only instructions but tutorials and videos to watch.  This particular video is a how-to for the radiant stitches.  Videos are broken into sections so you can watch a part and then go do that step, so very easy to have great success.

Now the embroidery part, so many built in designs (More than 800 embroidery options are built-in, 47 of them exclusive) 

and fonts (8 Built-In Embroidery Fonts All fonts are available in multiple sizes including upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers and symbols) and the largest embroidery area on the market.

and the ability to have your embroidery designs on MySewNet, just upload from the embroidery software on your computer to MySewNet a cloud based embroidery files)

Look at this fun little built-in feature .... magnets on the top of the machine.  I can put pins or other things handy and I don't knock them on the floor

One more thing I must mention as a favorite and a feature I love

This machine is simply amazing and each time I turn it on, I find something new that I simply have to try.   I have in fact never experienced anything like it.  Thank you Pfaff for this opportunity and I love your amazing Creative Icon.   I hope you have enjoyed seeing more about this machine and some of the features I really like.  I know this list will grow and I will share additional features in the months to come.  Now to go sew those radiant stitches!
