I am continuing to try and use my fabric from projects. Little baby girl clothes are a good way to use these pieces of fabrics
I used Simplicity 1813 for this outfit for one granddaughter and made the XS size. The stripe linen is from my wrap pants and some chambray from my stash.
The pants called for ruched elastic and I used one of my Pfaff Creative Icon's decorative stitches for this
Here is the stitch I used for this on the side seams. Notice in the upper left had corner of the screen, the Creative Icon tells you which foot to use and if you should use stabilizer. I did not use stabilizer on this one, the elastic and seam were enough to substitute for the stabilizer.
Next was the hem, I went with an antique hand embroidery stitch.
This finished the pants on this cute little outfit, I did make the elastic even smaller. This little girl is petite.
The little swing top was super easy to make but needed a little something else.
I went to my Premier +2 Embroidery Ultra Software and went right to the applique choices in Super Designs. The applique cupcake was perfect
Lastly, elastic for the casing stitched to some grossgrain ribbon. I only have red and gray ribbon, the gray was just perfect for this outfit.
Ta-da and done. A cute outfit for little one and I used up some of my fabric scraps. My daughter sent me photos today, little girl was wearing this outfit and it looks so cute on her. Yea for Nana!
I am so thankful for the opportunity as a Pfaff Ambassador and to use this fabulous machine. I love expanding my creativity in my garment sewing.
