Butterick 6378 - Embroidered Sleeves

Inspiration comes to you on Pinterest and then gets in your head and you just have to make it.  Does that happen to you?  It did for me with this blouse and I just had to make it in this beautiful linen.

This is the pin for the inspiration and this fabric had just been delivered about two weeks ago.
Style Maker Fabric's Rayon and Linen Stripe which would be fun for this blouse.  I have made Butterick 6378 a few times and knew it would work for this look.  Buttons might have been better down the front like my inspiration but linen/rayon season is coming to the end and I wanted a quicker make.  Here are my other Butterick 6378 and this one is my favorite.  I did slim my favorite one down at the sides and did this again with my pink one.  I really just need to adjust my pattern to match my favorite version of this blouse.

Now to the sleeves - I did alter the pattern and added 4 inches to the length and flared out the sleeve so I could have the fullness.

Now for the design, I used the Endless option (Wizards) in the Premeir +2 Embroidery Ultra Software and that is the scalloped portion with center design.  The other portions of the design are decorative stitches.

I am going to put another post just for the embroidery information and go into detail the how-to's.

Now I maybe made my sleeves a touch too long but having longer arms, I always would rather have longer sleeves than the just too short ones.

Which when you move your arms, the sleeves are perfect and show the entire stitching.  Speaking of stitching I had planned on navy embroidery thread but I don't have navy in my colors.  I used another blue I had and I love the color contrast with the pink, so yea for no navy thread!  LOL

Now if I pull up the sleeves just a bit, it make s a nice feature, a bit of blousing right at the end of the scallops.

  7. Well-done embroidery adds a touch of style and quality to your branding exercise. When the embroidery is stitched into the cloth, it is more permanent than painted material, which can become indistinct over many washes.go now

  8. After losing $60k to this binary crypto investment in 2022, I didn’t think I’d ever trust any form of crypto investment platform again. Luckily for me I was able to recover the funds through this incredible Hacker Steve who understands everything about the blockchain network. It was an emotional moment for me but Hacker Steve literally saved my life. He was able to pull back all my transactions. I would advise anyone in the same situation to not panic cuz digital assets can be recovered. Other assets such as stolen funds, stolen credit, lost crypto, etc. Contact Hacker Steve on Gmail: hackersteve911@gmail.com
