Premier +2 Embroidery Ultra and my Pfaff Creative Icon
Here is my completed design on the software
I started with a scallop from the Super Design menu and then went into the Endless Wizard to fill the embroidery hoop with the scallops
In the Endless option you can pick which direction the design goes - I wanted up and then I wanted the scallops to touch with no gap, so I went with a negative gap
It was a simple copy and paste to get my second row of scallops. For my circle design, I went to the Pfaff Creative Icon and used the shape creator (circle) and an eyelet stitch. I repeated the eyelet stitch until I had what looked good to me. I saved this circle design onto an USB and took it to the computer. Copy and paste again, lined it up and sent it right to my Creative Icon.
I did have to do two hoopings to have enough embroidered fabric for each ruffle. This is easily done with the Precision Positioning on the Creative Icon. Here is my two hoopings, photo from my Instagram story.
I did wind bobbins with the same thread for the top, this makes the wrong side looks so much better, especially when it shows
After I removed all the tear away stablizer, I put a line of Fray Check right next to the last scallop. Once the Fray Check dried thoroughly, I carefully trimmed away the fabric next to the scallops. I was so happy when this step was finished. I was so nervous trimming this.
I love these sleeves so much and they turned out even better than I had hoped.

DeleteHi Lori, these sleeves are gorgeous and I absolutely love how you incorporate your embroidery designs into the garments you make ~ so inspiring ~ and as a fellow sewist with an embroidery machine but not utilizing it to the degree that I could be I am in awe of your creations! Is the software that you are using the Premier +2 and if so is it the free software that comes with the machine or is it the purchased software that is available? Cindy
