I have been wanting to make Simplicity 8925, wrap top and thanks to Fabrics by the Yard, I had enough yardage to make this wrap top. Speaking of yardage, I went with
My favorite part of this top, besides the wrap, is the sleeves and this lovely fabric just makes them drape perfectly.

The lavender floral is so perfect for spring and summer and I really need some spring-like colors in my wardrobe. This floral has such gorgeous colors in the print, I knew it would fabulous with white jeans, blue jeans and I am thinking some olive pants, too. It is such a versatile fabric and I am loving the possibilities for different outfits.
This top was very straight forward but I would make a couple of changes. First, I think the slit for the tie on the side seam, is too wide, especially with a knit which folds over. Also, one of the ties is way too long, you can see that on the pattern envelope
I have it tucked into the ties for the photos and will probably wear it with the tie tucked.
On this top, I used a combination of my serger and small zig zag, which worked perfectly on this brushed knit.
As I had mentioned, this fabric is so soft, I used the extra for my granddaughters, a pair of pajamas for one and a nightgown for the other.
