Metra Blazer - Love Notion

Thanks to Whitney of TomKat Stitchery, I found the fabric and pattern via her summer look Boden video

I just never got it made this summer and with a jacket and this color it works for fall.

The pattern is Love Notions' Metra Blazer and fabric is Minerva's Meet the Maker Interlock Stretch Knit the color was Red bias but that is not available but there is a Russet Red

I added an inch to the length of the body and the sleeves. I wished I did not add to the body, this jacket is longer than I was expecting.  In retrospect, I wish I would have shortened it.

The instructions have a great way for the welt pockets, super easy and look very good.  

For the sleeves, I used a a bias binding from Style Makers in chambray.  I like how it finished off the sleeves, I used to on the sleeve seam too.

I like how this look but not sure I love it, so this might be the only one  I make but I did enjoy making it.
