I found this cute fabric at Hobby Lobby and just had to buy it, plus it was 50% off.
Crafty Professor used a pattern on a recent make and shared it on Instagram. It was a great vest and I went to take a look and yes, kid sizes. I bought the Pathfinder Vest from Twig and Tale
I did not line since it was such a nice sherpa. I just turned the seam allowance to the front at the center front and armholes, then stitched in place. I made three all together and the smallest one, I could not get a hood cut, so just a collar.
I used some petersham ribbon and folded in half and stitched the ribbon on the edge to hold in place. Then folded it for a closure and added a button from my collection.
On these photos, there is a bit of sherpa everywhere and a few threads dangling. The fabric was like a magnet for lint, thread and sherpa bits. I used the lint roller several times and told the moms to put them in the dryer before the girls wore them. One of my daughters said too late, so I am guessing her house has sherpa everywhere!
I did reverse the pockets on thee two vests for my 3 year old granddaughters so they knew which one was theirs
I used some of the 2021 and Circa 2021 labels
These vests are such a hit with the girls, the hood has the cute pixie hood and when they have that up it is so cute.
