Sewing for Youngest Granddaughter

I decided it would be fun to sew for each granddaughter and then move onto the next one.  Last fall I did a batch sewing for all three girls and it was fun but I was running out of steam at the end

First up The Riley Romper from Peek-a-Boo Patterns, I made her a 2 toddler with the 18 month length.  The fabric is from Joann Fabrics and so soft.

Then I went to the free pattern.... Bummies from Brindille & Twig, seven pairs for the seven days of the week.  Fabric is from Joann Fabrics, Sugared Sage Fabrics and L and E fabrics

These are so fast to make and they look so cute on her.

When I had fabric to match, I made a top

This is the Ruffle/Peplum Top from Lowland Kids

The pineapple is the same pattern, Ruffle/Peplum Top in just the tank top version as is the teal tank with the floral bummies

This floral is from Urban Kids and I used the Brindille & Twig Ringer Tee (also free).  The greens are not the perfect match but I think it works.

So that is all for this little girl, I am going to sew a few things for myself and then working on granddaughter, H.

  1. So cute! I have sewn matching outfits for all the grands at one time, and agree with losing steam at the end. I like your idea of a few outfits for one kiddo at a time, and I think I'll try it!

  3. I've sewn matching outfits for all of my grandchildren at once, and stumble guys I understand about losing steam at the end. I like your idea of making a few outfits for one child at a time, and I'm going to try it! So adorable!
